Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour was a funny game show; It should have lasted longer, I think the soap opera that rplaced it was not good at all

Well, Erik, the sad reality is that sometimes, game shows, no matter how much a handful may like it, get bad ratings overall, and the networks and, in the case of syndicated programs, TV stations, feel the need to pull it from the schedule.  Nothing lasts forever.  Even TPIR is going to be cancelled someday...

While it's always a shame to see a game show sacrificed, it should be noted that Santa Barbara was one of the better-written soap operas.

Oh, my God! Please turn down the color. I can barely read what's typed there in the midst of all that red without sunglasses.

And the EXTRA LOUD background WAVs are just a smidge annoying as well.

For those interested in web page creation, the above URL is the perfect example of how not to create a good web page.

If you're referring to the one that was on the soap opera site, it wasn't too bad.  If only my computer hadn't crashed last month, I'd still have it...wanted to burn that to DVD once I got the DVD burner.  Ah well.

It's still available at this link.

(Edited to explain: WoST leaves bonus eps on their site for some time after taking down the direct link. Yeah, I hang out there now. Wanna fight about it? :) )

Thanks for the direct link, Chris.  I looked all over for it when I got my computer back, and have turned up nothing, even combing through the wost site.  But I do appreciate it.

ObGameShows:  Bob Hilton did not make a good host for LMAD.  That doesn't mean he sucked as an announcer.

Hey, I do the same thing. :-) Soap theme composers have given us some of the most beautiful melodies ever recorded, plus it's a trip watching the video clips to see the intros/closes and sponsor billboards.
